The VAP4300 offers greater flexibility and can be used in various ways. The VAP4300 can be connected to an existing residential gateway or home router. It automatically configures itself to serve as a 5GHz video access point for the home. Devices like tablets and wireless set-top boxes with 5GHz 802.11n/AC capability can be connected to the VAP4300 immediately to start receiving services, or you can connect to 2.4GHz 802.11n.
For non-wireless devices, the VAP4300 can be connected via the Ethernet port. The VAP4300 includes a full set of management features designed to ensure satisfaction for both customers and service providers, significantly reducing installation costs. The VAP4300 features web-based configuration and can be remotely managed via TR-069. When connected to a compatible residential gateway, the VAP4300 is automatically controlled through the residential gateway as a single system. This saves time that would otherwise be spent on extensive training and allows for easy integration with existing management systems.
